Back during Vietnam, it was common for journalists to be neutral, challenge government reports and to mourn the deaths of innocents caught in the crossfire. Something has changed as of late. But I really think the US needs more people like Olbermann, who truly present neutrality, the facts, and don't care what side is "there side". There are far too man of these warmongers in US media who go around trying to raise fear and hatred between the two warring parties.
If the bad guys are truly bad, then there should be no harm in showing Afghanistan and Iraq through a neutral lens. Of course, A-Stan and Iraq were a lot more gray then a lot of people like to think.
