I would like for them to apologize for the Bombing for Pearl harbor first before I ever see the USA for apologizing for our bombing of their cities in WW2. Even Japan doesn't want to do it because they know it's ridiculous! It happened around seven decades ago! We have already lived and let live.
AND you need to remember that the bombs dropped were Nuclear, which means that modern day Hiroshima and Nagasaki have some of the HIGHEST Cancer rates in the world due to all of the radiation that still contaminates the area. That stuff just doesn't "go away", at least not for a couple of hundreds of years.
Hence why Ukrainians don't live in Pripyat anymore.
There's nothing that can justify a Nuclear bombing and not to mention all those killed in the bombings were all civilians living their daily lives, including children for God's sake. As the great Mohandas Gandhi once said "An Eye for an Eye makes the World go blind."
We're no better than them, and we were no better than the Germans when we put law abiding Japanese-Americans in internment camps. When due process fails us, we really do live in a world of terror. If it weren't for Diplomacy, there would be an even larger number of bombs and when extreme Nationalism interferes in any matter: Peace will never be a solution. If we can't forget, than we should still forgive if we want prosperity to reign over those around us.
USA did not want to take a part of that war and the Japanese "promised" they wouldn't do anything to hurt them and they were warned about the US willing to use that technology if they didn't fullfill their promise. What commies ignore is that the Japanese backstabbed the US and they had to jump in the war. If it wasn't for those bombs, they would've killed way more innocent people in the long run.
To prevent the deaths of innocents, you need to bring forth the death of innocents? I guess there's a reason why us "commies" tend to ignore double standards.
As said before, "An Eye for an Eye makes the World go Blind". Hirohito sent the attacks, ordered his troops. All the Japanese could do was whatever they were told. Like I stated, those people did not deserve to die because of the arrogance of their autocratic leaders. Even if an attack was necessary, nuclear involvement however was not and never will be. You will never know the true horrors of these devices, they're not like your average bomb, they don't stop killing, even when peace is established. Even to end a war, Nuclear bombs will never be a justifiable weapon as there will never be a justifiable excuse for them.
Even the men who dropped those bombs from their planes feel this way, they had to live with that guilt for so long.

I had to correct myself.
