Personally speaking, I couldn't care less about a made up load of democratic horse manure about "global warming" What happened to Al Gore's global cooling theory? Does no one remember that? What about the fact that of the emails that stated that the data was falsified? Come on how stupid are people?

Yes. I've had similar encounters.

It makes insecure people feel important when silly, simple acts imposed on others make them think they are saving the world.

Good God, our public schools are a joke. California spends nearly half its overdrawn budget (which hasn't existed for sometime now) on public schools. In honesty I haven't seen one test result higher due to it, no better school educational software, no computer upgrades, no books added. But I heard one teacher boast that he had gotten a raise. Hrm wonder where all that money went too? To make matters worse they decided to build a sauna next to the pool? Why? For what? Is that educational? No but its money well spent they said.

Also all the teachers at La Jolla High School had to have their own personal business cards. Paid for by whom? Us of course... I learned squat at that school and its rated near the top in the nation. Learned more from ditching school, reading at the library and listening to Rush or Rodger. When I have kids its private school all the way or home schooling. Screw this democratic bull that is taught in classes. Love everyone! Freedom is because our government cares! (No joke they say that), Bush is an evil man that should be shot! (Isn't that kinda over the top for a class?) and my personal favorite. Anyone that doesn't like democrats is because they haven't given it a chance.

I had a reply to that that got me sent to the office, my parents were proud as hell hahahaha

Yes, if at all possible: home-school. We're doing that (well, I am, specifically), and my 3yo's doing Pre-K and Kindergarten stuff. Best part is, I can keep her from being indoctrinated by stupidity and foolishness. Private schools are better than public ones, but some not by much.

Good decision, I agree with the private schools as well. Do lots of research no matter where you send them. That is at least what I did before I told my parents I had enough of the liberal go around.

I'd like to report that OR is much better off. But that is not the case.

Teachers' Unions complain that they are underpaid, over worked need more of everything for the children. They get the money but nothing changes and a year later it is rinse and repeat. Rarely has a class of people claimed such a high degree of caring for children but demonstrate the opposite so consistently.
