Not really... Take Washington State for instance, or Oregon. Ya places like Illinois kinda suck and California really sucks but not all the blue states do and plenty of red states are like 3rd world countries (ever been to Alabama? 100$ just goes so far it is like you are in Mexico or something)

(Economic Growth) No. Washington and Oregon were 3rd and 4th. California even was 6th. Alabama and Arkansas were in 39th and 40th, Wyoming was 48th en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_…

I have a feeling most of growth in WA, CA and OR is govt growth.  OR has
had a net loss of jobs vs. pop growth for 20 yrs.

Everywhere in the US, red and blue, except for the states which were almost empty, or only farming states 20 years ago (e.g. Wyoming, North Dakota, and Alaska), have had a net loss to population growth.

(Population Growth) No. Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas and West Virginia, had a slower growth rate than California. Washington state has the 7th highest growth rate, ahead of Arizona which is 8th. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_…
