This reminds me - I was wondering why there wasn't many jokes about Obama crowning himself king.

Too close to the truth perhaps.

I always hated Alice in Wonderland, especially the Queen of Hearts.
Now,
"Off with his head!"

I won't buy it. They can try to make me all they want, but I'd rather pay a fine than pay into their socialized medicine crap. And on a side note...does this make Pelosi the Jabberwocky?

Pelosi would scare the jabberwocky.

Most will pay the fine since it is thousands of dollars cheaper than the government insurance. Obviously the fine will increase. It was all a scam anyway.

If nothing changes we will all be forced to buy (i.e. taxed) a govt mandated policy or face the IRS. Hospitals will be like the DMV. Doctors will be hated since they make so much money and work less and less thanks to unions. The system will never have enough money. Taxes will consume 80% of income in 10yrs - just like Sweden. We will have no military. No new drugs. Little innovation. No incentive to work hard. The American dream will be taxed into distant memory.

Elections matter. Media & libs elected a socialist. This is the price.

Our only hope is Nov. Donate. Volunteer. Vote.

True...her and knave would get along well. They're cool with backstabbing/armtwisting/being creepos.

*sigh* I knew we were in trouble when Obama got elected...but I was willing to give him a chance. Hoping beyond reason that I was wrong. But he's really messing our country up. He and his clowns are hurting us more and more and I'm so sick of it. :( And I know doctors make a lot...but isn't that why a lot of people want to be doctors? And they have so many loans and money to pay back for their education plus the insurance they need, it's understandable why they charge so much.

Agreed!! You know...I think if everyone before they ran for office had to work as a normal american for at least five or so years in the real world, they wouldn't be pulling this crap.

There is no socialized medicine in this bill. There is the mandate but it's still all private insurance companies that you have to chose from.

For now, but eventually this is going to drive private insurance out of business and it'll boil down to having to buy it from the government.

Yep just like regulating food processing drove food companies out of business and led to a complete government take over of food.

That's...not even the same thing at all. With this bill it mandates that people insurance companies will have to cover all preexisting conditions, can't drop anyone and that kids get to stay on their parents health insurance till they're 26. It's going to force premiums up and when insurance companies can no longer compete because of government regulations, then they'll take them over and say 'we had no choice' because they were 'to big to fail'. And I don't even have health insurance right now. It'd be nice to be able to get it, and I have a preexisting condition so I know it'll be harder. But I don't want the government interfering like this, especially with a bill that the majority of Americans didn't want. Not to mention if it's all about health, then why have do they have something about education in there? I had to switch all my college loans from a private cooperation to the government. This thing isn't about health, it's about control. And to bring things back to the poster, I wish congress would have listened and chopped the bills head off.
