Well..it's probably becuase GM sucks as is their reputation. And don't forget, they were almost the pioneers of Electric cars and forcibly recalled their entire product line, even after people bought them, and some of those people didn't even want to give them up 0.0
Personally I think electric cars have a lot of potential, but at this point the technology still needs some development. It looks as though electric cars are the wave of the future.
