It's the Right that protects the rest of our Rights.  Therefore the Emperor wishes to remove it, when he's not on vacation.

I just don't get it. Why is it that people think you're making these humor-oriented cartoons as evidence for your political views?

I see a lot of people here who reject this notion that you've portrayed because the modern government has access to bombs, the latest in surveillance technology, armor, and the best weaponry.  That might be so, but remember that there were these people about 238 years ago who faced a similar situation and triumphed.  The situation isn't a new thing- history is filled with examples just like it.

We're lucky, though, because there's still plenty of time for Americans as a group to get a job/learn something, gain a backbone and find an inch of lost moral fibre- I think then we'd all wake up to a better nation.  I mean, c'mon- we're the same people who conquered a continent, defeated the 18th century's greatest superpower, became the greatest superpower ever to sit on the Earth, wiped out many of the world's most ancient diseases, and landed on the moon.  You'd think we could do better, right?  I mean, sure, the second amendment is there to depose a tyrant, but wouldn't it be better if we could avoid inserting the tyrant in the first place?

Agreed in general, but we are not the same.   Just as in localized areas of the country, Libs are like locusts.  They ruin the place they live then move to another eventually ruining that one too.

History repeats itself- the Roman writer Cicero wrote about things like excessive welfare, interventionism, not securing borders, declining moral fibre, a rampant debt and a corrupt government; things that modern liberals today don't recognize.  The problems that felled the Romans weren't unique to them; you can trace those threads all throughout human history, but liberals as a whole don't want to look for the answers to their problems.
It's inevitable that the government of today will follow in the footsteps of the failed empires of yesterday.  The question is what we're going to do about it.  People like John Boehner want to submit, but they won't realize till the end that by affranchising evil, they support it.

Of course none of that is directly about guns, but it doesn't take a genius to realize that disarming an innocent population of their right to defend themselves not only has never worked, but can't work.

If you could just sit down and explain all that to the Honorable Johnny B.

Then the king ordered a missile strike and killed the stupid peasant that thought a hand gun made him a threat.

So the 50 million other peasants shot the king.  The end.
