Farmer's markets? Organic foods!!! No. God forbid people eat anything other than heavily possessed, American fast food.
"But dad, all the MacDonalds is making me feel sick. Can we try some different types of foods?"
"NO SON! We mericans. We will eat only good ol' American food"
If I was to sum up your gallery in one sentence it would be "Guy complains about things that differ from his way of life and thinking."
I treated it for what it was; a dumb joke which deserves mockery. Does this particular post just deserve evasion from mockery because it is satirical and a joke? Am I only allowed to mock sound arguments and if I criticise a joke, I suddenly am not treating it for what it is? I mock opinions from that are converted into sound, serious, textual arguments and I mock opinions that are converted into satirical political cartoons. It may be a joke but it still conveys an opinion that can be commented on, does it not?
I was mocking the joke. How is that being too serious. Conservatoons incorporates his views into his political cartoons. I disagree with these views and mock them. I'm not trying to start a political debate as articulate as one laid out in a broadsheet newspaper. I'm just poking fun at the irrationally stupid views portrait through this joke. Is this seemingly unfair? Is that taking it too seriously? Because I don't think it is. Mocking a joke doesn't mean you're taking it too seriously, it means you disagree with the views being portrayed in it and will expressive it as such.
Also touchy? Fluttershy hun, you're the one throwing a hissy fit at somebody making general fun at a joke.
